A stunning nickel-chrome cased pocket watch by the famous watch-maker, Waltham of America, with a 9 jeweled movement. This is a beautifully made key-less-wound pocket watch, made in ca. 1942 and the case, with screw on front and rear covers, a water proof and hermetically sealed case.
The watch recently serviced and overhauled by my watch maker, keeps reasonable time for a 80 year old watch, and watch comes with a two year mechanical warranty.

THE DIAL: 100% mint, the black enamel dial with with lumised Arabic numerals and in bright condition with no hairlines or chips and signed Waltham. The dial with lumised steel hands. The diameter is 42 mm . The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with a 3/4 plate and a regulator, and blued screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality, with a cut-away plate and gold plated wheels, with 9 jewels. The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping reasonable time for a 80 year old watch.
THE CASE: 100% mint, the nickel-chrome case measures an impressive 49 mm. The front and rear covers both close nice and tightly. The case fully marked with Keystone Watch Company mark and case number of 5025619, and marked Silveroid. The rear cover in fine condition. This is a high quality case, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine periodwatch in simply stunning condition, which is a veryrare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
