A VERY RARE FIND
Unusual to find a business card from one of Apples most influential
early employees, Bob Bishop, who worked alongside Steve Wozniak
at Apples R&D department.
WHY?
Bob Bishop was afamed Apple programmer working alongside Steve Wozniak
building out Apples early R&D laboratory.
Bob was known for many early Apple II programs
which highlighted the capabilities of the Apple II computer
and was constantly pushing the boundaries.
Initially working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
One of his tasks included working on Apollo 17, the last mission to the moon.
He published a number of titles for the Apple II including
ROCKET PILOT, STAR WARS, SAUCER INVASION, and SPACE MAZE.
(Yes, that was him writing those programs!)
In 1978, he was invited to work at Apple by Steve Wozniak himself.
He joined Wozniak in the Apple R&D department
which at the time consisted of just Bob and Woz (so it is said).
After retiring from Apple in 1981,
he went on to publish other Apple II games through Datasoft.
Bob was best known in the Apple world for "Apple-Talker",
the first program ever to create human speech on the Apple computer
as well as for "Apple-Vision", a demo program for the Apple II.
This card came from the estate of the late Bob Bishop.
It is in truly pristine condition, in the grey color used for
Apple business cards in those days.
In the pictures youll see the original box (not included!) it came from,
with a highly faded business card taped on the front.
It very well shows the contrast in color and highlights
the excellent condition of this authentic Bob Bishop
business card.
It is extremely rare to see a Bob Bishop business card up for sale.
It is likely you have never seen one ever anywhere.
AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE PIECE OF APPLE HISTORY
GREAT AS A VERY ORIGINAL
