Early 19th Century English 8" Pitcher With Armorial Crest "Upon My Honor"


Early 19th century pitcher with pearlware type body. Wine-colored transfer armorial type crests on either side that read "Upon My Honor" and "Quid Rides". Oval transfer vignette of Hope under the spout in the same color. Handpainted blue floral springs on four points between images; the rim and handle decorated with dark burgundy/brown accents. A couple of tiny shallow chips on the rim, and some rough spots. A worn spot on the glaze on the top edge of the handle. Overall fine crazing. No chips or repairs or other issues. Base and foot are extremely clean, with only very minor rough spots. Measures 7.75" tall. 8.75" wide from spout to handle. The base measures just over 4" across.
