Tout a commencé avec un Finlandais affamé et un couteau à découper. C’était dans les années 1930, lorsqu’un pêcheur en est arrivé à la conclusion suivante : les gros poissons mangent les petits, et plus particulièrement les petits poissons blessés. Ainsi commence le plus grand récit de pêche jamais conté. Alors que Lauri Rapala pêchait dans les eaux du lac Paijanne en Finlande, il se mit à ramer doucement et observa. Et il constata que les prédateurs affamés qui se précipitaient sur un banc de vairons attaquaient systématiquement celui qui nageait moins bien, qui semblait blessé.

Incorporating all the positive attributes that have made the Tail Dancer a success, the Deep Tail Dancer features an enlarged extreme diving lip that plummets the lure to 30-plus feet with ease. To ensure success, Pro Staff anglers across the country have spent the past year and a half field-testing many different configurations, with a special focus paid to the color patterns, and then culling the large selection to the top ten colors that will work in any body of water. Front red VMC Pyramid Point hooks (for a wounded minnow simulation) offer quick piercing and the strength to withstand the fiercest battles.
